Welcome to Voices for Justice, Inc.
In Memory of Laura Bowdoin (1971–2008)
This nonprofit organization was founded in memory of Laura Bowdoin. We launched Voices for Justice, Inc. back in 2008, after Laura was murdered in her home in New Port Richey, Florida—and justice was denied.
When the Pasco County Sheriff’s Department tried to label this murder a “suicide” without any real investigation, it showed exactly how corrupt the system can be. But we refused to accept that.
We wouldn’t just go away. We would not be silenced.
We demanded justice then—and we demand it now. We invite you to review her case and the official documents for yourself.
Our Mission in 2025
Voices for Justice, Inc. has been revamped and strengthened to stay true to our founding promise:
- Demand Justice in an Injustice System
- Demand Accountability
- Demand Transparency
- Refuse to Be Silenced
We are advocates for justice, civil rights, and human rights. They may try to silence you—but they will not silence us, together.
How We Serve Our Communities
We know real change requires real action. In 2025, we’re expanding our work to deliver practical tools, knowledge, and support to those who need it most.
- Verified Attorney Referrals
We now collaborate with top attorneys committed to defending your rights. We offer referrals to vetted, experienced, and ethical attorneys in your area who will fight for you and your family.
- Free Virtual Legal Workshops
We offer free, accessible online workshops to build legal awareness and empowerment, covering:
- Your rights under the U.S. Constitution and state laws
- Legal processes and how to navigate them
- Rights during incarceration and parole procedures
- Reentry planning and state reentry laws
- Community Call-Ins (Live Q&A)
We believe in open communication and direct support. Join our live community call-in sessions—an interactive space where families can call in, ask questions, and get real-time answers about navigating the system, legal rights, and available resources.
- Story Submission & Amplification
Your story matters. We offer a platform to share and amplify your experiences, whether read aloud on our podcast, featured on our website, or used in advocacy. We highlight:
- Wrongful convictions
- Institutional abuse and neglect
- Failures of the justice system
- Voices too often silenced
- Complaint Support & Filing Assistance
We provide guidance and practical help for those seeking accountability:
- How to file formal complaints against correctional facilities, law enforcement agencies, or other institutions
- Where and how to submit complaints
- How to track and follow up for meaningful responses
Our Promise
We will never stop demanding the justice that Laura Bowdoin—and so many others—deserved. We will not accept corruption, cover-ups, or silence.
Together, our voices are stronger. Together, we demand justice, accountability, and human rights for all.
